Grasp This If You Can, And Your Life Will Change Forever

If you can grasp this, it will set you free, AND, put you on a totally new course in life and business.

Are you ready?

….

“It’s Intentional.”

….

Grasp this if you can. The World is not seeing you right now because, “it’s intentional.” You are being passed over for promotion right now because, “it’s intentional.” Everything you are wishing, hoping, and praying to happen in your life right now is not happening because, say it with me, “it’s intentional.”

There’s a masterful story in the Christian Bible where Jesus was attending a wedding. The host of the party ran out of wine and came to Jesus to “fix it.” Jesus said the most powerful words ever uttered in the Universe, as far as I’m concerned. He said, “it’s not my time.”

You Have A Perfect Time To Shine

It’s not my time. Now, there’s so much being said here, on so many different levels, we can’t dive into it all in this post, but the key for you to know is, you have a perfect time to shine. A “set time,” an “ordained time,” if you please.

And if you will resist the urge to allow society to “mold you” into who they need or want you to be, and if you keep trusting in the deep calling that’s centered in your soul, and not get ahead of yourself, you will get to where you want to go, AND, more importantly, you will be right on time.

You see, if you’re allowed to shine before your time you will be a flash in the pan; a one-hit wonder. But if you wait patiently, remain humble, in due time you SHALL be exalted. And when your time has come, you will transcend most of the arduous journey moving from obscurity to notoriety seemingly overnight.

It’s Not Linked To Age

Remember, this kind of “time” is not linked to age. It is never too late. I recently worked with Robbie at a weeklong city-wide business expo who is in her 80’s and still doing business all across the country.

I met Dr. Barbara Young at the same event who is also in her 80s. Who didn’t go back to school to get her education until she was in her sixties. She went on to get her PHD.

In a recent podcast I was listening to with Oprah and Jane Fonda, Jane shared how she didn’t find her true self until after she turned sixty!

The World Is Being Prepared For You

Your “time” is not linked to age; it’s linked to preparedness. Destiny is only predicated on the fullness of time. You see, not only are you being prepared for the world, but the world is being prepared for you!

Be patient. Be kind. Be humble. You haven’t been passed by, you’ve been prepared; prepared for such a time as this.

Grasp this if you can, and your life will change forever. It’s intentional.

Are You Out of Your Mind?!

Wednesday Wisdom: “Are You Out Of Your Mind?!

Where does your head need to be in order for you to take full advantage of where you are?

Money rarely determines the most important outcomes in our life; attitude does. You can have it “oh so right” and see it “oh so wrong” and you’re going to miss out on an opportunity of a life time.

Resist the urge to “figure it all out” before acting upon it. Remain open, flexible, fluid. Get on and go for the ride. See where it take you.

Don’t over steer it.

Keep watching ahead for signs that it may be time to change direction, or even “get off the bus,” but don’t try and figure it all out before you even get started. It will keep you where you’re at.

When you start where you’re at, again, you will look back and beat your self up, again. You’ll bathe in the regret of what you wish you would have done, again.

And when it does materialize, and you do finally see it for what it is, you will wish you could have seen it for what it could have been and took the chance; taken the leap.

Are you out of your mind?

Ask to see what’s in front of you the the way you need to see it, so you can be who you need to be, at this specific moment, so you can take full advantage of the opportunity that is in front of you.

How you see it will determine whether or not you seize it, or rationalize it away….again.

Are you out of your mind?

Why Authenticity Is Stopping You From Achieving Your Dreams

Have you ever shared something with someone, I mean from the depths of your soul, and as soon as it came out of your mouth you started beating yourself up for sharing?

I met with a close friend and colleague this morning. I refer to her as “Miss Dubai” because of the elegance and brilliance she expresses in the world.

We had one of those “heart-to-heart” talks over coffee. You know the kind where you’re just real. No fake. No pretense. If it sucks right now you say it sucks!

(There are few in life who you can have those kinds of conversations with and still hold your head high when you’re through. That’s why I cherish our relationship.)

I’ve been reflecting on our conversation since this morning and haven’t been able to shake the feeling that once again I bit the bait of “expressing how I really feel.”

There are times in your journey when you shouldn’t share how you feel, but rather talk about how you want to feel. You shouldn’t always share what you don’t have, but rather express what you want to have.

If like begets like, which I believe it does, then even our “honest moments of reflection” can be doing unseen damage.

I quickly shot the following text to “Miss Dubai.” Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think it was meant for more that just the two of us.

Even our most honest moments of reflection can be doing unseen damage.

Text Message to Miss Dubai

“Ok Ms. Dubai – that was the last conversation I’m having with you about who I’m not and what I don’t have. “Authenticity” can be a evil elixir at times.

I’m not broke. I’m not a slave to a job. I’m not stuck. I’m not afraid. – of ANYTHING! I celebrate the clients I have, the speaking opportunities I have, the consulting arrangements I have.

All of these pieces make up my financial snapshot at the moment. It’s not who I am, it simply is where I am at the moment. Just because where I am at the moment is not where I ultimately want to be, doesn’t mean I’m not who I need to be – at this moment.

Organic Growth

I am organically growing into the person I’ve been created to be. My pain and struggle – even the pain and struggle that today delivers – has made me, is making me, and will always continue to make me who I am born to be.

Do I need to do more?

More is relative. You don’t force a flower to bloom; you give it space and allow it to do what comes naturally.

What may “appear” to be “messy” to the outside at the moment, or even to the inside at times, is actually a precursor to my glory.

I am exactly who I need to be, exactly where I need to be, doing exactly what I need to be doing at exactly this stage in my life!!

But don’t blink baby, because I’m about to change. 😉

End Text.

Keep being you. There’s no one better!!
