When you wait for something for so long, every time you get an email, a phone call, some indication that “this may be the answer you’ve waited on” only to be disappointed, you can develop a pathology of losing.
You want to believe, but because you’ve been believing for so long without seeing anything happen, you begin to wonder if your dream will ever come true.
“Hope deferred makes the heart sick.” But, “Be not weary in well doing, for in due season you will reap if you faint not.” The hardest thing to do is to hold on and keep believing that everything will work when it seems like nothing is working.
I’m supposed to encourage you, friend, to HOLD ON!
I’m supposed to tell you that what you are doing and have been doing is working; you just haven’t been able to see the progress. Your progress has been taking place in places people can not see; yet.
“I’ve grown the inner you before the outer you.”
Friend, you must HOLD ON! PLEASE!
Heed the Word. Victory is just up ahead. Just around the next corner is what you have been working for. Hope deferred DOES make the heart sick, BUT when the desire comes, it’s the tree of life.
